For face-to-face fundraising: street and door

Fundraising training for the first ten seconds.

New fundraisers practise the stop, the story of the cause and the ask for a monthly gift out loud, with AI passers-by who are in a hurry, sceptical or genuinely open. That way they do not arrive on the street unprepared for their first shift. Built with Trust Marketing and Credo, where onboarding has been compulsory for every new fundraiser since September.

01What they practise

The moments that decide a donor.

  1. The stop and the opening

Earn ten seconds from someone walking past, without sounding like everyone else on the street.

  2. Telling the cause in one minute

Make the cause concrete and personal, and check that it landed before moving on.

  3. Asking for a monthly donation

Ask clearly, handle "I already give" and "not now", and close with the details right.

02Onboarding

Every new fundraiser ready for the first shift.

  1. Watch

Videos on the pitch method and the first shift, with a short knowledge quiz.

  2. Practise

Two practice conversations with an AI passer-by, with feedback per criterion.

  3. Test

A final test as a real conversation, passing from a 7.

We set up the onboarding route with your videos, questions and pitch. You see each fundraiser’s progress. Make it compulsory before the first shift, as Trust and Credo do. The onboarding route is now available in Dutch, Spanish and French. Practice is possible in five languages.

03Who they meet

Passers-by with somewhere to be.

From the open-minded listener to the quiet observer who gives nothing away until the end.

BeginnerThe open-minded listenerCurious, positive and needs the story to feel concrete.
BeginnerThe rushed contactFriendly, busy and willing to listen if the opening feels clear.
IntermediateThe quiet observerReserved, hard to read and only opens up after patient questions.

04How it works

From first shift to confident fundraiser in three steps.

  1. Pick a scenario per charity

Every campaign has its own passers-by, with the cause, the ask and the objections that belong to it.

  2. Practise out loud wherever you are

In the browser or the app, on iPhone and Android, on the way to a location or right after a shift.

  3. Get feedback on your pitch

A score per part, and one thing to do differently next time.

05For trainers and team leads

Next to your training, not instead of it.

PitchMaster is an extra tool next to your training, not a replacement. Team members practise as often as they need and get feedback straight away. Trainers and team leads see in the results where someone gets stuck, and help turn that feedback into a better conversation.

  • See who practises, how often and on which scenarios
  • Coach on patterns across the team instead of gut feeling
  • Set levels: beginner scenarios first, harder objections later
  • Build scenarios from your own scripts, no developer needed
  • Scores per team member and a focus point for the next conversation
  • Record coaching moments
  • Send messages and shout-outs

06FAQ

Fundraising teams ask

What does it deliver?

At Trust and Credo, new fundraisers who completed the onboarding beforehand had half as many shifts without a sale. See the result

Can fundraisers practise on their phone between shifts?

Yes. PitchMaster runs in the browser and as an app for iPhone and Android, so a fundraiser can do a round on the way to a location or right after a shift while the conversation is still fresh.

Can we train per charity or campaign?

Yes. Each campaign gets its own scenarios with the cause, the ask and the objections that belong to it, and managers see progress per campaign and per fundraiser.

Which languages can fundraisers train in?

Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish, so international teams practise in the language they work in and managers keep one overview.

Is it for experienced fundraisers too?

Yes. After onboarding, fundraisers practise harder passers-by and new campaigns.

Where does our data go?

The application, the database and the storage run at Hetzner in Germany. Training conversations, transcripts, feedback and recordings are automatically deleted or scrubbed after 30 days. Some AI and speech providers process limited data outside the EU, under contractual safeguards. Read Security & data

Does PitchMaster replace our trainers?

No. PitchMaster takes over the repetition and the first feedback. Trainers and team leads see in the results where someone gets stuck, and help turn the feedback into a better conversation.
